Domain-free wire layer: length-prefixed framing, blocking frame
reader/writer, an I/O-free frame splitter for programs that run their
own I/O loop, and a transport-listener abstraction with TCP and
Unix-domain-socket implementations. Application messages and their
codec live with each application, behind melin-app’s request
decoder and response encoder.
Modules§
- blocking
- Blocking (synchronous) frame reader/writer for dedicated I/O threads.
- control
- Transport-level control types shared between the server runtime and the application-specific protocol crate. These are domain-free: they exist for connection management, auth handshakes, and pipeline control — not for business messages.
- control_
codec - Codec for transport-level control frames.
- error
- Protocol error types.
- framing
- I/O-free framing: split length-prefixed frames out of bytes the caller already holds.
- tcp
- TCP transport implementation.
- transport
- Transport abstraction layer.
- uds
- Unix domain socket transport implementation.
