Expand entity references at the current position.

UPSTREAM-PARITY

Upstream xmlTextReaderExpand (xmlreader.c) forces substitution of the current entity reference so the node can be read in full. When the parser ran with XML_PARSE_NOENT the entities are already substituted during parsing; the function then simply returns the current node.

xmlNodePtr xmlTextReaderExpand(xmlTextReaderPtr reader);

Returns the (expanded) current node, or NULL if the reader is NULL or not positioned on a node.

Safety

reader must be a valid pointer or NULL.
