pub struct ClipboardMarks {
pub concealed: bool,
pub transient: bool,
}Expand description
What the pasteboard said about the text a paste brought back: the markers
password managers set on a copied secret, after the
convention at nspasteboard.org that 1Password, Bitwarden, KeePassXC and
the macOS clipboard managers follow. Read by the driver, which owns the
clipboard, and handed over with the text as InputEvent::Paste.
Where the runner reads each:
concealed: the macOS pasteboard typeorg.nspasteboard.ConcealedType; on Windows the registered formatExcludeClipboardContentFromMonitorProcessingbeing present.transient:org.nspasteboard.TransientType; on Windows the formatCanIncludeInClipboardHistoryholding 0.
The runner does not read them on Linux yet — KDE’s
x-kde-passwordManagerHint: secret is a MIME type arboard writes but
cannot list — so there both stay false.
Fields§
§concealed: boolThe text is a secret: do not show it, log it or keep it anywhere.
transient: boolThe text is on the clipboard for a moment: do not keep it in a history.
Implementations§
Source§impl ClipboardMarks
impl ClipboardMarks
Sourcepub const SECRET: ClipboardMarks
pub const SECRET: ClipboardMarks
Both markers: what a password manager puts on a secret it copies,
and what Core::set_clipboard_secret writes.
Sourcepub fn bits(self) -> u32
pub fn bits(self) -> u32
As bits, the C ABI’s spelling: KUI_PASTE_CONCEALED 1,
KUI_PASTE_TRANSIENT 2.
Sourcepub fn from_bits(bits: u32) -> ClipboardMarks
pub fn from_bits(bits: u32) -> ClipboardMarks
From ClipboardMarks::bits; unknown bits are ignored.
