Dock

Enum Dock

Source
pub enum Dock {
    Left,
    Right,
    Bottom,
    Window,
    Off,
}
Expand description

Where the panel sits. The header has a button per placement, and Ctrl+Shift+D walks them in Dock::ALL’s order.

Variants§

§

Left

A column on the left of the main window, DOCK_SIDE_W wide to start with; the handle on its edge resizes it.

§

Right

The same column on the right.

§

Bottom

A strip along the bottom, DOCK_BOTTOM_H tall to start with.

§

Window

A window of its own, DEVTOOLS_WINDOW — “undock”.

§

Off

Hidden: nothing drawn, no window declared, the chords still live (Ctrl+Shift+D brings it back) — “close”.

Implementations§

Source§

impl Dock

Source

pub const ALL: [Dock; 5]

Source

pub fn name(self) -> &'static str

Source

pub fn parse(s: &str) -> Option<Dock>

A placement by name; "side" is the right, the name it had before there was a left.

Source

pub fn docked(self) -> bool

Whether the panel is drawn inside the main window.

Source

pub fn is_side(self) -> bool

Whether the panel is a column beside the app.
