kimun-notes as a library: the TUI, the CLI and the MCP server.
src/main.rs is a shim over app::main. Everything — the app loop and
the screens included — lives here, so integration tests under tests/ can
drive any screen, or the loop itself, without a terminal.
Modules§
- app
- The App loop and the state it runs over (see CONTEXT.md § App shell).
- app_
screen - ask
- cli
- components
- keys
- rag
- All wiring for the optional RAG server lives in this module — config
reading, client construction (
client) and the background sync loop (sync). Everything talks to the server throughcrate::server_client; the rest of the TUI only consumes these helpers and renders status. - ropetext
- A text editing model for terminal editors.
- server_
client - The component inside Kimün that owns every dealing with the RAG server:
connection/capability probing, pushing note changes, and hash-diff
reconciliation (see CONTEXT.md, “Server client”). Core stays network-free;
it feeds this module only through the
observerseam, which reports a path, a content hash and upsert-or-delete, and knows nothing of RAG. - settings
- update
- Update awareness and (where permitted) self-update.
- util
- Editor-agnostic utilities shared across components.
