Some when exactly one of KHIVE_SOCKET / KHIVE_PID is set.
The one predicate for a split rendezvous: the daemon refuses to boot on it
(ensure_rendezvous_overrides_paired, #2656) and a client refuses
lifecycle recovery on it (ADR-185 Amendment 5), because recovery reads a
supervisor marker derived from the socket and signals the process named by
the PID file, and with a split rendezvous those belong to different daemons.
