The files the system asks the app to open: documents opened from the system’s file browser, or dropped on the app’s icon, at launch or while it runs. Flutter’s macOS embedder hands them to its plugins (FlutterAppLifecycleDelegate.handleOpenURLs:), outside the framework.

What happens with the files the system asks the app to open. The host calls handler with each request’s files on the main thread, outside every framework call, so it may post to the app. Files asked for before a handler is set wait for one: a launch asks for its files before the app has started.
