vc only.Expand description
Checks the credentialStatus of a credential: fetches the status list, bitmap or registry
the entry points to and reports whether the credential is still good.
The crate ships no implementation; the status mechanisms live with the credential formats
that define them. A check that does not understand the entry’s type reports
StatusError::Unsupported, which the StatusPolicy decides about.
Required Methods§
Sourcefn check<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
status: &'life1 TypedObject,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<(), StatusError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
fn check<'life0, 'life1, 'async_trait>(
&'life0 self,
status: &'life1 TypedObject,
) -> Pin<Box<dyn Future<Output = Result<(), StatusError>> + Send + 'async_trait>>where
Self: 'async_trait,
'life0: 'async_trait,
'life1: 'async_trait,
Checks status.
§Errors
A StatusError: Unsupported for a type the check does
not know, Invalid when the credential is revoked or suspended.
Dyn Compatibility§
This trait is dyn compatible.
In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
