Expand description

Raw native process observations imported from IC Profiler 70907ff.

Consumers own workload selection, cadence, PID-identity admission, aggregation and interpretation of unavailable counters. These observations are not atomic.

Modules§

procfs
Linux procfs observations. Callers select a mount and own read budgets.

Structs§

ChildProcesses
Native child-list evidence. It does not select or adopt workload descendants.
ProcessObservation
One observed process; this is not proof of ownership or a live process handle.

Functions§

affinity_cpus
Observe the Linux scheduler-affinity CPU count for a PID. Returns None on another host or native query failure; fallback policy is caller-owned.
basic_process
Observe base CPU/RSS/identity facts without Linux I/O or PSS reads.
children
Observe native child IDs without changing process ownership. Darwin’s capacity is caller-selected; Linux inspects every task’s children file.
monotonic_ns
Host monotonic nanoseconds, falling back to a process-local Instant epoch.
process
Observe a process, including Linux I/O and explicitly requested PSS.
process_identity
Read the native opaque creation identity, or None if unavailable.
thread_cpu_ns
CPU nanoseconds of the current thread; zero when the native clock is unavailable.
tid
Current native thread identity; zero on unsupported hosts or query failure.
