Module sampling

Native process-leader RSS observations, independent of workload policy. Linux retains page-based /proc measurements; Darwin reports native ps RSS.

Structs

Process

One process leader observed in a native table.

Enums

SamplingError

Failure to observe a native process table or sum its resident bytes.

Functions

snapshot

Observe process leaders using Linux /proc or the macOS native ps table.

source

Measurement-source identity; consumers retain it with their comparisons.

tree_rss

Sum observed resident bytes for a root and its descendants, counting each leader once.

Type Aliases

Snapshot

Native observations indexed by process-leader identifier.
