test-tool progress — exercises Git-compatible progress display (t0500).

Mirrors git/t/helper/test-progress.c and git/progress.c with GIT_TEST_PROGRESS_ONLY behavior (no SIGALRM; fake elapsed time via throughput lines setting progress_test_ns).
