[][src]Struct grin_core::core::transaction::TxKernelEntry

pub struct TxKernelEntry {
    pub kernel: TxKernel,
}

Wrapper around a tx kernel used when maintaining them in the MMR. These will be useful once we implement relative lockheights via relative kernels as a kernel may have an optional rel_kernel but we will not want to store these directly in the kernel MMR.

Fields

kernel: TxKernel

The underlying tx kernel.

Methods

impl TxKernelEntry[src]

pub fn excess(&self) -> Commitment[src]

The excess on the underlying tx kernel.

pub fn verify(&self) -> Result<(), Error>[src]

Verify the underlying tx kernel.

pub fn from_kernel(kernel: &TxKernel) -> TxKernelEntry[src]

Build a new tx kernel entry from a kernel.

    W: Writeable
[src]

impl<H> ShortIdentifiable for H where
    H: Hashed
[src]

fn short_id(&Self, &Hash, u64) -> ShortId[src]

Generate a short_id via the following -

  • extract k0/k1 from block_hash hashed with the nonce (first two u64 values) * initialize a siphasher24 with k0/k1
    • self.hash() passing in the siphasher24 instance
    • drop the 2 most significant bytes (to return a 6 byte short_id)
