pub fn open_zip<R: Read + Seek>(reader: R) -> ZipResult<ZipArchive<R>>Expand description
Open a ZIP archive without reading all of it.
To find an archive that does not start its file, such as a self-extracting executable, zip scans everything before the central directory: the whole archive. An archive that starts with a ZIP header, as nearly all do, is opened at offset 0 instead, which reads only the central directory. Anything else still gets the scan.
