gled’s egui interface without the engine. The desktop app and the browser
page both build on it; it compiles for the web, so it only talks to the
engine through gled_protocol messages.
Modules§
- app
- extension
- What a host adds to the interface: the desktop app offers remote access to its engine, which a browser cannot.
- link
- The interface’s connection to the engine, whatever carries it: the desktop app talks to its engine in the same process, the browser and a remote desktop over a WebSocket. Actions and other input enqueued on the interface’s thread go through it, numbered, so the interface knows when the engine applied its edits.
- render_
state - The GPU egui draws with, which also renders the effect thumbnails and the LED preview. Set once when the app starts, on the desktop and in the browser alike.
- settings
- The interface’s own settings, which stay on the device showing it: how big the effect thumbnails are, with which palette they are drawn, and whether the browser may use MIDI. eframe stores them, in a file on the desktop and in the browser’s local storage.
- style
- gled’s look: its fonts, the dark theme and the image loaders, the same on the desktop and in the browser.
- ui
Functions§
- wgpu_
render_ state - The app’s render state. Panics before the app started, which only code drawing the app can reach.
