Expand description
Specifies the kind of an image view.
Variants
D1
A single one-dimensional row of texels.
D1Array
An array of rows of texels. Equivalent to D2
except that texels
in different rows are not sampled, so filtering will be constrained
to a single row of texels at a time.
D2
A traditional 2D image, with rows arranged contiguously.
D2Array
An array of 2D images. Equivalent to D3
except that texels in
a different depth level are not sampled.
D3
A volume image, with each 2D layer arranged contiguously.
Cube
A set of 6 2D images, one for each face of a cube.
CubeArray
An array of Cube images.
