The XAML runtime library: what compiled and interpreted markup documents call into. Markup extensions, templates, includes, type converters, the runtime helpers of the XAML compiler (service providers, deferred content, parent stacks) and the loader entry point.

include_compiled_xaml

Includes the compiled markup the build script of the crate generated (ferroui_build::Build::run, docs/porting/xaml.md 9.6.2), at the root of the crate: one public module per group of documents (compiled_xaml for the default group) and the module compiled_markup with the embedded assets (ASSETS), the loader table of the crate (try_load) and register(), which the register_types() of the crate calls.

Functions

register_types

Registers the namespaces and the types of this crate (and of the crates it is built on) with the tables of known types (TypeInfo::find, MarkupType::find) and its assembly. Cheap and idempotent; nothing is initialised until a type is used or looked into.

Type Aliases

CompiledXamlLoader

The loader of the compiled documents of one assembly (crate): returns the object built from the document with the absolute URI uri, Ok(None) if the assembly has no such document, and the load error when building the document failed.

XamlDiagnosticFunc

Called with each diagnostic the runtime loader produces; returns the severity to treat it with.
