The Android platform.
An application is a shared library that the application class of the
Java layer of this crate loads (java/org/ferroui/android). There are
no windows: content is shown by a [FerroView] in an activity
([FerroActivity]; the main activity shows the main view of the
ApplicationLifetime). The system drives everything: the dispatcher
is the main looper, rendering follows the choreographer on a render
thread, and the surface of the view is drawn through EGL or into the
buffer of its native window.
interop is the only place that crosses to Java and to the NDK. The
parts that call the system exist on Android only; on another system the
crate is the logic of the backend, which its tests run there. The design
is in docs/porting/android-platform.md.
Modules§
- automation
- The accessibility nodes of the automation peers (the
Automationdirectory of the reference): per provider contract of a peer, what a node of the system says of it and which actions it performs. - interop
- The boundary to the system: the Java Native Interface ([
java]), the functions of the NDK ([ndk]) and the native methods of the Java layer ([natives]). Everything that isunsafefor Java or the NDK is in these modules (docs/porting/android-platform.md, section 2). - log
- The log of the system.
- platform
- The services of the platform (the
Platformdirectory of the reference).
Macros§
- android_
application - Makes a shared library the native side of an Android application.
Structs§
- Android
Back Requested Event Args - Android
Platform Options - The options of the Android platform, registered with the application
builder (
AppBuilder::with). - Application
Lifetime - The lifetime of an Android application: every main activity asks the factory for its main view.
- Cursor
Factory - The cursor factory of a platform that shows no cursor of the application: every cursor is the same empty cursor.
- Platform
Icon Loader - An icon loader for a platform that never shows an icon. The platform
registers
PlatformIconLoaderStub, as the reference does; this class is kept as the reference has it. - Platform
Icon Loader Stub - The icon loader of a platform without window icons: an icon keeps the bytes it was loaded from, so that it can be saved.
- Windowing
Platform Stub - The windowing platform of Android. There are no windows: content is shown by a view in an activity.
Enums§
- Android
Rendering Mode - Represents the rendering mode for platform graphics.

- PERMISSION_
DENIED - PERMISSION_
GRANTED PackageManager.PERMISSION_GRANTEDandPERMISSION_DENIED(thePermissionof the reference).- RESULT_
CANCELED - RESULT_
FIRST_ USER - RESULT_

Traits§

Navigation Service - IActivity

Activity - An activity that shows content of the framework.
Type Aliases§

android.content.Intent), if any. - Intent
- Request
Permissions Result Handler - The request code, the permissions and what was granted of each.
