Parse a comma-separated list of entry kinds.
Closed vocabularies are comma lists and open pattern values are repeatable, because
glob brace syntax (*.{rs,toml}) contains commas and would be shredded by a split.
An empty entry and a repeated kind are errors rather than silent no-ops, as they are
for views: repeating a value is far more likely to be a typo than an intention.
