pub trait StaleLockVerifier {
// Required method
fn classify(&self, observed: &LockObservation) -> StaleLockDecision;
}Expand description
Consumer-supplied proof that one observed lock record is stale.
Implementations receive only what Core can prove about the record, plus their
own runtime facts. They must not treat PID liveness, record age, executable
name, or service state as universal proof, and they must return
StaleLockDecision::Unknown whenever their evidence is incomplete.
The verifier cannot delete anything: it returns a verdict, and Core performs the claim.
Required Methods§
Sourcefn classify(&self, observed: &LockObservation) -> StaleLockDecision
fn classify(&self, observed: &LockObservation) -> StaleLockDecision
Classifies one observed record.
Dyn Compatibility§
This trait is dyn compatible.
In older versions of Rust, dyn compatibility was called "object safety".
