Native OpenTelemetry request-lifecycle spans.
Coarse runtime timing, causal parentage, request identity, and terminal outcomes. Engine-internal metrics and invariants are intentionally not instrumented here.
Structs§
- Lifecycle
Request - Request root span plus the shared terminal recorder.
- Lifecycle
Terminal - A terminal recorder that is safe to clone across completion and cancellation paths.
- Lifecycle
Trace - Request-scoped lifecycle capture state.
Enums§
- Lifecycle
Operation Role - Operation owner used to distinguish the frontend and worker stages.
- Lifecycle
Stage - A duration-bearing boundary in the request-lifecycle convention.
- Terminal
Outcome - One-shot outcome recorded on the request root.
Constants§
- LIFECYCLE_
ROOT_ METADATA_ KEY - Internal wire metadata marking requests with a frontend lifecycle root. Absent on legacy or uninstrumented frontends; those requests keep ordinary tracing.
- LIFECYCLE_
TARGET - Static tracing target used exclusively by lifecycle spans.
- LIFECYCLE_
TRACE_ CONTEXT_ KEY - Context-registry key used to preserve lifecycle identity through frontend stages.
