Cross platform enum of common Socket Types. For missing types use the libc and winapi crates, depending on platform.

Variants

Stream

Sequenced, reliable, connection-based byte streams.

DGram

Connectionless, unreliable datagrams of fixed max length.

Raw

Raw protocol interface.

RDM

Reliably-delivered messages.
