A margin is a cushion against the requirement rising, so doubling the requirement is already far past any honest cushion. The bound exists because .set is a MONEY-PATH mutation reachable with an ordinary paired token: an unbounded u64 lets a caller commit the operator to locking an arbitrary multiple of every store’s requirement, and the margin arithmetic saturates rather than failing, so an absurd value produces a silently enormous posting instead of an error.
