Session persistence: one file per review source under .diffler/reviews/. Legacy .diffler/session.json migrates to reviews/working.json, and a walkthrough embedded in an older review file splits into its own walkthrough-<id>.json on load.

delete_source

Remove a source’s review file. A missing file is fine.

load_all

Every persisted review sorted by key, plus each corrupt file’s path. We list the directory up front so a walkthrough split mid-scan stays out of this call.

The working tree falls back to the legacy file, which the next save_source migrates.

Saving the working tree removes the legacy file.

Replace path through a temp file and rename. We write through a symlink to its target and keep the target’s permissions.
