collapse_unchanged_subtrees

Keep unchanged siblings as one-line context while hiding their unchanged descendants. Paths that lead to a change and fully added/removed subtrees remain expanded.

Apply the presentation depth after the complete trees have been compared. A hidden changed path is represented explicitly instead of being mistaken for “no call changes”.
