Cache engine: local iroh-blobs store fronted by an Origin for misses.
Structs§
- Cache
Engine - Engine bundling a filesystem-backed iroh-blobs store with an optional
origin backend. Lookups hit the store first; on miss and when an origin is
configured, bytes are pulled and BLAKE3-verified. Insert-before-return is a
property of the buffered path (
Self::get/Self::populate), not of this type:Self::admit_baocommits only a verified sub-range. - Eviction
Candidates - Snapshot of access times for blobs that are eligible for LRU
eviction — i.e. pinned hashes are already excluded. Returned by
CacheEngine::eviction_candidates. - Eviction
Preview - Read-only snapshot of a hash’s local-cache state, returned by
CacheEngine::inspect. Backsdecdn node evict --dry-run(issue #379): operators running DMCA takedowns want to confirm the blob’s size, last-access time, pin status, and already-evicted flag before mutating state. - Origin
Held Report - The origin-held announce set plus what the rescan behind it could not
resolve, read as one consistent view — see
CacheEngine::origin_held_snapshot. - Present
Ranges - The chunk ranges of a hash currently present in the store.
Enums§
- Origin
Presence - A live origin-existence answer (#1766), distinguishing a genuine negative
from a backend fault. It is the target of the two-way collapse in
crate::origin_probe::Presence:Present/Absentmap straight across, andFaultis folded into “don’t advertise” — seeCacheEngine::origin_probe_size. - Serve
Audit - Serve-path verdict for one hash, from a single store
status()call.
