Expand description

Tests whether expression begins with the exact, case-sensitive prefix. Returns NULL if either argument is NULL; starts_with("PostgreSQL", "Post") evaluates to true. Requires PostgreSQL 11 or newer. Maps to PostgreSQL STARTS_WITH.
