Module shield 

The system-gesture / interactive-dismiss / status-bar shield (docs/cover.md): the registries behind the defers_system_gestures, interactive_dismiss_disabled and status_bar_hidden modifiers. Each mounted modifier pushes an entry while its subtree is alive; the union of entries is the app’s current request.

Gesture deferral and the status bar flow straight to the backend (Toolkit::defer_system_gestures, Toolkit::set_status_bar_hidden) on every change. Dismiss-disabled is a query: the cover piece reads it (reactively, via the change day_reactive::Trigger) when deciding whether a native back may close it and when patching the presented surface’s isModalInPresentation-style flag.

Functions

deferred_edges

The union of every live deferral request (Edges::NONE when there are none). Untracked.

dismiss_disabled

Whether any live subtree asked to disable interactive dismissal. Reads track the change counter, so a binding re-runs as modifiers mount and unmount.

pop_status_bar_request

push_dismiss_disabled

Register an interactive-dismiss-disabled request (an interactive_dismiss_disabled subtree mounted). Pair with pop_dismiss_disabled on unmount.

push_gesture_deferral

Register an edge-deferral request (a defers_system_gestures subtree mounted). The backend receives the new union immediately. Pair with pop_gesture_deferral on unmount.

push_status_bar_request

Register a status-bar request (a status_bar_hidden subtree mounted) with its current answer. The backend receives the new union immediately. Update it with set_status_bar_request and pair it with pop_status_bar_request on unmount.

set_status_bar_request

Change a live status-bar request’s answer (its reactive source changed).

status_bar_hidden

Whether any live subtree asks for the status bar hidden. Untracked.
