Checks the answer to a batch (5.7) of requests: for 200, an array with one
{envelope, status} per request (status an integer 100-599), else E_ENVELOPE for the
whole; then each item as an envelope (5.5) with its status against its own request, a
failing item reported in its place. Any other status is one envelope of a refusal outcome,
with nothing to bind.
