CacheManager: Manages cache directory and cache file operations
CachedFooter: What one file’s footer said, as much of it as a reopen needs.
CloudListing: The buckets a cloud source listed on an earlier run, shown straight away on the next one while a fresh listing is out.
DatasetFacts: What datui remembers about a dataset it has already measured.
DatasetShape: What an open learned about a dataset’s files, kept so the next one can show its columns and its row count without reading a single footer.
FileFooters: The footers a dataset’s count has read, each under its file’s identity (file_identity): a count of the dataset again reads only the files it has not, though files were added since, and a count that was stopped keeps what it read.
StableHasher: A hash that is the same in every build, for file names and fingerprints.
Visits: How often and how lately a dataset was opened: zoxide’s frecency, which ranks Recent and lifts often-opened matches (#547 M9).

MAX_RECENTS: Maximum number of recently opened paths kept. Enough to span a few days of work; small enough that the home screen never has to paginate it.

by_frecency: recents, most recent first, reordered by frecency. Ties, and recents opened before visits were counted, keep the order they had.
file_identity: What a file is, for FileFooters: its key, size, modification time and the store’s tag, any of which changes when the file is written again.
stable_hash: CRC-64/XZ of one byte string.
