Runs: executing a program over a message.

Structs§

AuditEntry
One task’s audit record, written as v3 wrote one.
CancelToken
A cancellation flag. Clones share one flag; a child has its own, and is cancelled when it or any ancestor is.
Change
One write or removal, written as v3 wrote one.
Context
The context: always data, metadata and temp_data, in that order. Each root starts as an object, and every write keeps it one: map, Ctx::set and Context::set refuse anything else at a root.
Engine
A program and its config: what runs messages.
EngineBuilder
Builds an Engine from definitions: functions registered on a Registry, the workflows, and the config. build fails if any workflow is rejected, with every rejected definition’s issues.
EngineConfig
What an Engine is configured with beside its program. A reload, Engine::with_program, keeps it.
ErrorContext
Where the engine mirrors failure records in the context, and how many it keeps.
ErrorRecord
One error record, written as v3 wrote one: the same keys, in the same order, each optional one absent when unset. The engine stamps every record a task adds with the workflow’s and the task’s ids and the run’s timestamp, keeping any the record already carries; a workflow’s own failure carries no task id.
Instant
The clock a deadline is read on: web_time::Instant, which is std::time::Instant itself on native targets and a browser clock on wasm32. A measurement of a monotonically nondecreasing clock. Opaque and useful only with Duration.
Message
Pure wire data: {id, payload, context, audit_trail, errors}, in that order.
Run
The report of one run: how it ended, what each workflow did, and its trace when one was asked for.
RunOptions
What a caller chooses about one run.
WorkflowRecord
One workflow’s part in a run.

Enums§

AuditMode
Which audit entries a run keeps on the message. Full by default.
RunStatus
How a run ended.
Selection
Why a workflow did or did not run.
WorkflowExit
How a workflow that ran ended.

Constants§

CHECK_EVERY
How many ops run between two checks of the limits, when one is set.
