Crate dactyl_db

Crate dactyl_db

Source
Expand description

Dactyl — a lightweight Rust storage driver for local and Neon routes.

Dactyl owns backend selection, parameter binding, response normalization, physical atomic batches, access mode, and local durability. It does not own schema policy, migration ids/order, retries, analytics, or business logic.

Re-exports§

pub use crate::error::AdapterErrorKind;
pub use crate::error::DactylError;

Modules§

error
Errors returned by the Dactyl driver.

Structs§

AtomicResult
The result of an opaque atomic batch.
Connection
A route-scoped application driver. Backend handles remain private.
DatastoreRoute
The route needed to send an application read or write.
OpenOptions
Options that affect physical opening, not migration or application policy.
Operation
An opaque, backend-neutral operation accepted by crate::Connection.
Row
One result row. Carries the column names plus the per-cell JSON values.
Rows
A collection of result rows.
StorageContext
Caller-owned context forwarded to a remote storage service.
WriteResult
The normalized result of one physical write.

Enums§

AccessMode
Whether an opened route may mutate durable state.
Datastore
A supported application datastore.
GeneratedKey
A generated key explicitly returned by a write, never an ambient handle.
OperationKind
The physical kind of an operation. Schema operations are caller-supplied and are not migrations: Dactyl never assigns ids or ordering to them.
OperationResult
A result in an atomic batch, preserving operation order.
Parameter
A unified database parameter value.

Constants§

STORAGE_CONTEXT_VERSION
The first version of the opaque storage-context envelope.

Functions§

executeDeprecated
queryDeprecated
read
read_with_context
write
write_with_context

Type Aliases§

Driver
Alias that makes the application-driver role explicit.
