@param[in] entity A domain entity or an entity bound to a domain, such as a participant, reader or writer. @param[in] type_id Type identifier @param[in] timeout Timeout for waiting for requested type information to be available @param[out] type_obj The type information, untouched if type is not resolved

@returns A dds_return_t indicating success or failure.
