Crate cybercore

Crate cybercore

Source
Expand description

cybercore — the shared definition repository for the Cybercore Systems Framework. The single source of truth for the CYBERGRID palette, canonical filesystem paths, and (over time) other schema shared across cyberdeck, cyberdock, cyberterm, cyberplug, omniscient, and whatever comes next.

The actual data lives under schema/, not in this source code — this crate is a typed, compile-time-embedded loader, not the data’s owner. schema/cybergrid.json holds metadata (schema version, active theme, paths); each theme’s 11-color palette is its own file under schema/themes/<family>/<slug>.json. build.rs merges all of it into one embedded blob at compile time — edit the JSON files, add or remove theme files freely; everything else follows, no Rust code to touch.

Modules§

components
Shared UI component styles for the Cybercore Systems Framework — cards, status badges, data tables, form inputs, popup viewers, and the theme-picker dropdown itself — for every Cybercore surface that wants the same look cyberdeck established (cards/badges/topbar/window conventions), not just cyberdeck itself.
palette
True-color ANSI helpers, sourced from the canonical schema in schema/cybergrid.json rather than hand-copied hex values per project (which is how omniscient and cyberplug each ended up with their own slightly-drifting copy of the same palette before this crate existed).
paths
Canonical filesystem locations, sourced from the schema. Every project that currently hardcodes ~/.sysops, ~/.cargo-target, or similar should call these instead — one edit to the schema updates every consuming project on its next build.
schema
Loads schema/cybergrid.json — the canonical, language-agnostic source of truth for the whole Cybercore Systems Framework.
status
Canonical Cybercore tool status contract and atomic publishing helpers.
tokens
Shared non-colour design tokens — fonts, a type scale, spacing, radii, motion, z-index — for the Cybercore Systems Framework.
