Logging, time measurement and small serialization helpers.

Logger

run.log (+ standard output) recorder. Corresponds to exec > run.log in the script.

StageTimes

Per-stage accumulated time.

Timeline

Event record (timeline.txt): epoch seconds.nanoseconds event lines. Also kept in memory as (relative time, string).

Same shape as Python round(x, n) followed by repr (.0 for integers).
