Epistemic and usefulness separation scaffolds.
Usefulness can affect retrieval pressure. It must not upgrade truth, authority, proof closure, validation, or promotion state.
Structs§
- Epistemic
State - Combined memory epistemic state plus utility.
- Usefulness
- Bounded usefulness score. This is retrieval utility, not proof or truth.
Enums§
- Epistemic
Error - Error raised when a transition would conflate utility with truth/proof.
- Proof
Status - Proof status describes lineage/proof closure, not task success.
- Proof
Transition Evidence - Evidence that may justify an explicit proof transition.
- Truth
Status - Truth status describes claim truth, not usefulness.
- Truth
Transition Evidence - Evidence that may justify an explicit truth transition.
- Utility
Signal - Utility signal observed from use or outcomes.
Functions§
- apply_
outcome_ success - Apply outcome success to usefulness only.
- assert_
utility_ preserved_ epistemics - Validate that a utility application preserved truth and proof status.
- reject_
utility_ to_ proof_ transition - Fail closed for any attempted utility-to-proof transition.
- reject_
utility_ to_ truth_ transition - Fail closed for any attempted utility-to-truth transition.
Type Aliases§
- Epistemic
Result - Result type for epistemic transition helpers.
