Struct wgpu::PipelineStatisticsTypes
source · #[repr(transparent)]pub struct PipelineStatisticsTypes(_);
Expand description
Flags for which pipeline data should be recorded.
The amount of values written when resolved depends on the amount of flags. If 3 flags are enabled, 3 64-bit values will be written per-query.
The order they are written is the order they are declared
in this bitflags. If you enabled CLIPPER_PRIMITIVES_OUT
and COMPUTE_SHADER_INVOCATIONS
, it would write 16 bytes,
the first 8 bytes being the primitive out value, the last 8
bytes being the compute shader invocation count.
Implementations§
source§impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
sourcepub const VERTEX_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 0)
pub const VERTEX_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 0)
Amount of times the vertex shader is ran. Accounts for the vertex cache when doing indexed rendering.
sourcepub const CLIPPER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 1)
pub const CLIPPER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 1)
Amount of times the clipper is invoked. This is also the amount of triangles output by the vertex shader.
sourcepub const CLIPPER_PRIMITIVES_OUT: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 2)
pub const CLIPPER_PRIMITIVES_OUT: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 2)
Amount of primitives that are not culled by the clipper. This is the amount of triangles that are actually on screen and will be rasterized and rendered.
sourcepub const FRAGMENT_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 3)
pub const FRAGMENT_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 3)
Amount of times the fragment shader is ran. Accounts for fragment shaders running in 2x2 blocks in order to get derivatives.
sourcepub const COMPUTE_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 4)
pub const COMPUTE_SHADER_INVOCATIONS: PipelineStatisticsTypes = Self::from_bits_retain(1 << 4)
Amount of times a compute shader is invoked. This will be equivalent to the dispatch count times the workgroup size.
source§impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
sourcepub const fn empty() -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn empty() -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns an empty set of flags.
sourcepub const fn all() -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn all() -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the set containing all flags.
sourcepub const fn from_bits(bits: u8) -> Option<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
pub const fn from_bits(bits: u8) -> Option<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
Convert from underlying bit representation, unless that representation contains bits that do not correspond to a flag.
sourcepub const fn from_bits_truncate(bits: u8) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn from_bits_truncate(bits: u8) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Convert from underlying bit representation, dropping any bits that do not correspond to flags.
sourcepub const fn from_bits_retain(bits: u8) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn from_bits_retain(bits: u8) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Convert from underlying bit representation, preserving all bits (even those not corresponding to a defined flag).
sourcepub fn from_name(name: &str) -> Option<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
pub fn from_name(name: &str) -> Option<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
Get the value for a flag from its stringified name.
Names are case-sensitive, so must correspond exactly to the identifier given to the flag.
sourcepub const fn intersects(&self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes) -> bool
pub const fn intersects(&self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes) -> bool
Returns true
if there are flags common to both self
and other
.
sourcepub const fn contains(&self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes) -> bool
pub const fn contains(&self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes) -> bool
Returns true
if all of the flags in other
are contained within self
.
sourcepub fn insert(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
pub fn insert(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
Inserts the specified flags in-place.
This method is equivalent to union
.
sourcepub fn remove(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
pub fn remove(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
Removes the specified flags in-place.
This method is equivalent to difference
.
sourcepub fn toggle(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
pub fn toggle(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes)
Toggles the specified flags in-place.
This method is equivalent to symmetric_difference
.
sourcepub fn set(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes, value: bool)
pub fn set(&mut self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes, value: bool)
Inserts or removes the specified flags depending on the passed value.
sourcepub const fn intersection(
self,
other: PipelineStatisticsTypes
) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn intersection( self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes ) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the intersection between the flags in self
and
other
.
Calculating self
bitwise and (&
) other, including
any bits that don’t correspond to a defined flag.
sourcepub const fn union(
self,
other: PipelineStatisticsTypes
) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn union( self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes ) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the union of between the flags in self
and other
.
Calculates self
bitwise or (|
) other
, including
any bits that don’t correspond to a defined flag.
sourcepub const fn difference(
self,
other: PipelineStatisticsTypes
) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn difference( self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes ) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the difference between the flags in self
and other
.
Calculates self
bitwise and (&!
) the bitwise negation of other
,
including any bits that don’t correspond to a defined flag.
This method is not equivalent to a & !b
when there are bits set that
don’t correspond to a defined flag. The !
operator will unset any
bits that don’t correspond to a flag, so they’ll always be unset by a &! b
,
but respected by a.difference(b)
.
sourcepub const fn symmetric_difference(
self,
other: PipelineStatisticsTypes
) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn symmetric_difference( self, other: PipelineStatisticsTypes ) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the symmetric difference between the flags
in self
and other
.
Calculates self
bitwise exclusive or (^
) other
,
including any bits that don’t correspond to a defined flag.
sourcepub const fn complement(self) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
pub const fn complement(self) -> PipelineStatisticsTypes
Returns the complement of this set of flags.
Calculates the bitwise negation (!
) of self
,
unsetting any bits that don’t correspond to a defined flag.
source§impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
sourcepub const fn iter(&self) -> Iter<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
pub const fn iter(&self) -> Iter<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
Iterate over enabled flag values.
sourcepub const fn iter_names(&self) -> IterNames<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
pub const fn iter_names(&self) -> IterNames<PipelineStatisticsTypes>
Iterate over enabled flag values with their stringified names.
source§impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
impl PipelineStatisticsTypes
sourcepub fn contains_invalid_bits(&self) -> bool
pub fn contains_invalid_bits(&self) -> bool
Returns true if the bitflags contains bits that are not part of the bitflags definition.
