pub struct Packbits;
Expand description

Compressor that uses the Packbits1 algorithm to compress bytes.

  1. PackBits is often ineffective on continuous tone images, including many grayscale images. In such cases, it is better to leave the image uncompressed.

impl Clone for Packbits

source§

fn clone(&self) -> Packbits

Returns a copy of the value. Read more

fn clone_from(&mut self, source: &Self)

Performs copy-assignment from source. Read more

impl Compression for Packbits

source§

const COMPRESSION_METHOD: CompressionMethod = CompressionMethod::PackBits

The corresponding tag to the algorithm.
source§

fn get_algorithm(&self) -> Compressor

Method to optain a type that can store each variant of comression algorithm.
source§

impl CompressionAlgorithm for Packbits

source§

fn write_to<W: Write>( &mut self, writer: &mut W, bytes: &[u8] ) -> Result<u64, Error>

The algorithm writes data directly into the writer. It returns the total number of bytes written.

impl Debug for Packbits

source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
source§

impl Default for Packbits

source§

fn default() -> Packbits

Returns the “default value” for a type. Read more
source§

impl PartialEq for Packbits

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Packbits) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
