pub struct SIRParameters {
    pub infection_parameter: f64,
    pub recovery_rate: f64,
    pub mortality_rate: f64,
}
Expand description

Parameters for the most simplistic SIR model (ODE)

Fields§

§infection_parameter: f64

Infection parameter

Note: In the SIR model this parameter is the effective contact rate (ceff) (i.e. has the dimension of an inverse time), while in the 1D and 2D models this parameter (c) has a dimension of length per time (1D) or area per time (2D) respectively.

§recovery_rate: f64

Recovery rate (i.e. rate at which infected transition to the recovered population)

§mortality_rate: f64

Mortality rate (i.e. rate at which infected decrease without a transition to the recovered population)

Implementations§

source§

impl SIRParameters

source

pub fn new( infection_parameter: f64, recovery_rate: f64, mortality_rate: f64 ) -> SIRParameters

Create a new set of rate parameters for SIR models
