Helpful numerical functions for fitting symmetric 1D peaks

• WidthFit
  A fit of the left, right, and full width at half maximum

Functions

• approximate_signal_to_noise
  Approximate signal to noise ratios for the target intensity value by doing a local search for the next nearest maximum on either side of the target.
• fit_falling_side_width
  Fits the right side of a peak
• fit_rising_side_width
  Fits the left side of a peak
• full_width_at_half_max
  Fit both sides of a peak, producing a summary of peak shape features
• lorentzian_fit
  Fit a Lorentzian peak shape at index.
• quadratic_fit
  Fit a Gaussian peak shape at index.
