Struct idb_sys::Factory

source ·
pub struct Factory { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Lets applications asynchronously access the indexed databases.

Implementations§

source§

impl Factory

source

pub fn new() -> Result<Factory, Error>

Gets an instance of Factory from global scope.

source

pub fn open( &self, name: &str, version: Option<u32> ) -> Result<DatabaseRequest, Error>

Attempts to open a connection to the named database with the specified version. If the database already exists with a lower version and there are open connections that don’t close in response to a versionchange event, the request will be blocked until they all close, then an upgrade will occur. If the database already exists with a higher version the request will fail.

source

pub fn delete(&self, name: &str) -> Result<DatabaseRequest, Error>

Attempts to delete the named database. If the database already exists and there are open connections that don’t close in response to a versionchange event, the request will be blocked until they all close.

impl PartialEq for Factory

source§

fn eq(&self, other: &Factory) -> bool

This method tests for self and other values to be equal, and is used by ==.
1.0.0 · source§

fn ne(&self, other: &Rhs) -> bool

This method tests for !=. The default implementation is almost always sufficient, and should not be overridden without very good reason.
