Struct grin_core::core::block::HeaderEntry

source ·
pub struct HeaderEntry { /* private fields */ }
Expand description

Header entry for storing in the header MMR. Note: we hash the block header itself and maintain the hash in the entry. This allows us to lookup the original header from the db as necessary.

Trait Implementations§

impl Debug for HeaderEntry

source§

fn fmt(&self, f: &mut Formatter<'_>) -> Result

Formats the value using the given formatter. Read more
source§

impl Hashed for HeaderEntry

source§

fn hash(&self) -> Hash

The hash of the underlying block.

source§

impl Readable for HeaderEntry

source§

fn read<R: Reader>(reader: &mut R) -> Result<HeaderEntry, Error>

Reads the data necessary to this Readable from the provided reader
source§

impl Writeable for HeaderEntry

source§

fn write<W: Writer>(&self, writer: &mut W) -> Result<(), Error>

Write the data held by this Writeable to the provided writer

Returns the argument unchanged.

source§

impl<T, U> Into<U> for T
where U: From<T>,

source§

fn into(self) -> U

Calls U::from(self).

That is, this conversion is whatever the implementation of From<T> for U chooses to do.

impl<T> Same for T

§

type Output = T

Should always be Self
source§

impl<H> ShortIdentifiable for H
where H: Hashed,

source§

fn short_id(&self, hash: &Hash, nonce: u64) -> ShortId

Generate a short_id via the following -

  • extract k0/k1 from block_hash hashed with the nonce (first two u64 values) * initialize a siphasher24 with k0/k1
    • self.hash() passing in the siphasher24 instance
    • drop the 2 most significant bytes (to return a 6 byte short_id)
