Enum dicom_core::value::ModifyValueError

source ·
#[non_exhaustive]
pub enum ModifyValueError { IncompatibleStringType { original: ValueType, }, IncompatibleNumberType { original: ValueType, }, }
Expand description

Error type for a failed attempt to modify an existing DICOM primitive value.

Variants (Non-exhaustive)§

This enum is marked as non-exhaustive
Non-exhaustive enums could have additional variants added in future. Therefore, when matching against variants of non-exhaustive enums, an extra wildcard arm must be added to account for any future variants.
§

IncompatibleStringType

The modification using strings cannot proceed due to the value’s current type, as that would lead to mixed representations.

Fields

§original: ValueType
§

IncompatibleNumberType

The modification using numbers cannot proceed due to the value’s current type, as that would lead to mixed representations.

Fields

§original: ValueType

impl Error for ModifyValueError
where Self: Debug + Display,

source§

fn description(&self) -> &str

source§

fn cause(&self) -> Option<&dyn Error>

👎Deprecated since 1.33.0: replaced by Error::source, which can support downcasting
source§

fn source(&self) -> Option<&(dyn Error + 'static)>

The lower-level source of this error, if any. Read more
