The platform’s HTTP client.

A native transfer fails when the response, or the next piece of its body, does not arrive within 60 seconds; a body that keeps arriving runs as long as it needs. A socket left open by a phone that slept or lost its network therefore ends in an error, and HttpClient::download_to resumes from the bytes already on disk at the next attempt.
