NATS-shaped primitives shared by the production and in-memory bus backends.
The broker transports identifiers and content digests, never record bodies. The traits intentionally model the selected NATS primitives rather than a least-common-denominator queue API.
Structs§
- Async
Permission Violation - Census
Watch Guard - Tracks presence and deletion observations made on this connection as a local safeguard; the server-side credential revocation remains authoritative.
- Conformance
Report - Content
Digest - A SHA-256 content digest in its canonical lowercase hexadecimal wire form.
- Dead
Letter Record - Delivery
Token - MaxDeliveries
Exceeded - Message

Classification - Property
Spec - Publish
Receipt - The server’s decision about a publish, including deduplicated retries.

Enums§
- Backend
Kind - BusError
- Claim
Outcome - Connection
Failure - Credential
Sign Failure - Delivery
Family - The business family, not the transport’s retention policy, selects the diagnostic stream. Non-session effects still use the effect dead-letter lane.
- Durable
Owner - Whose durable a cursor binds: an agent or a module, with its id. The
backend derives the durable name from the kind and the id (
c_orm_followed by the id), so a cursor can bind only an agent’s or a module’s durable and never an arbitrary consumer name. - Property

- Stream
Cursor - A cursor for an already-created durable, selected by its associated registry identity.
- Work
Queue - A claimant on a bounded work queue.
Functions§
- attribute_
sentinel_ failure - Reports a permission violation observed during the request instead of its less-specific timeout.
- classify_
properties - effect_
dead_ subject - map_
connection_ failure - map_
credential_ sign_ failure - run_
conformance - terminally_
dispose - Publishes a persistent dead-letter record before terminating the exhausted delivery.
Returns the publish receipt, including duplicates, as described by
Stream::publish. A duplicate is also followed by termination; use a separate dead-letter stream so its message ids do not collide with the original work items. - terminally_
dispose_ cursor - Persistently publishes a cursor’s terminal diagnostic before terminating it.
