Module range_set

Module range_set

Source
Expand description

Numeric range sets with folding and autostep support.

This module is the Rust implementation of ClusterShell.RangeSet.

A RangeSet manages a set of non-negative integers as a union of string-represented values, with optional step detection (autostep) for compact string representation (e.g. "0-8/2").

Internally, like Python’s ClusterShell, the set stores string representations of integers, preserving zero-padding per element (e.g. “001”, “02”, “3”).

Structs§

RangeSet
An ordered set of integer string representations, supporting cluster range notation like "1-10,15,20-30/2".
RangeSetND
N-dimensional range set, used internally by NodeSet for multi-range patterns.

Enums§

RangeSetError

Constants§

AUTOSTEP_DISABLED
Special constant used to disable autostep feature.
