DAG executor — schedules and runs tasks with maximum parallelism.
The executor is a single-threaded scheduler that dispatches tasks to worker threads. It blocks on an mpsc channel waiting for completions, then immediately dispatches any newly-ready tasks. This gives maximum parallelism without busy-waiting: a task starts the instant its dependencies are satisfied and a pool slot is available.
