ClusterShell node-group lookup shared by claw and cast.
Two sources, in order:
groups.conf($XDG_CONFIG_HOME/clustershell/groups.conf, default~/.config/clustershell/groups.conf, then/etc/clustershell/groups.conf) throughGroupResolverConfig— the same upcall-driven resolverclaw -guses.- Flat
groups.dfiles ($XDG_CONFIG_HOME/clustershell/groups.d/*, then/etc/clustershell/groups.d/*; YAML files are skipped) with onegroup: nodesetper line, where the nodeset is a whitespace- or comma-separated list of node patterns.
@group and @source:group spellings are accepted; with flat files the
source selects the file stem inside groups.d.
Functions§
- expand_
pattern - Expand a
--onpattern whose top-level comma-separated tokens may be@groupreferences, resolving each throughlookup, into aNodeSet. Plain tokens keep full bracket/range syntax. - find_
groups_ conf - Find groups.conf config files in standard locations.
- group_
nodes - Resolve a group spelled
grouporsource:group(without the leading@) to node patterns: groups.conf first, then flatgroups.dfiles. - groups_
d_ dirs - The
groups.ddirectories holding flat group files, user first. - load_
group_ resolver - Load a GroupResolverConfig from standard config file locations.
- lookup_
flat_ group - Look
groupup in the flat files underdirs.sourcerestricts the search to files whose stem equals it. The first match wins. - parse_
flat_ groups (group, nodeset)pairs from a flatgroup: nodesetfile. Blank lines and#comments are ignored.- user_
config_ dir - The user’s ClusterShell config directory:
$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/clustershellor~/.config/clustershell.
