Crate commonware_allocator 

Allocate and manage memory.

Allocators usually read their tuning (how long freed memory is retained, how much is reserved up front, when memory returns to the operating system) from environment variables at startup. This crate sets that configuration in the binary and exposes allocator statistics for export as metrics.

mimalloc

mimalloc is a general-purpose allocator that serves each size class from thread-local pages carved out of arenas of operating system memory, returns an object freed by any thread to the page it came from, and purges freed arena memory back to the operating system after a delay.
