Parse a rollout transcript. Pure, so it is testable without a filesystem.
None when no session_meta was found — a file that is not a rollout, or
one truncated before its first line landed.
A line that fails to parse is skipped rather than failing the file: a transcript being appended to right now routinely ends mid-line.
