EtherNet/IP (CIP) driver for Allen-Bradley Logix, Micro800 and SLC/MicroLogix PLCs.
The Rust core of the ciplink package (a pycomm3 fork). The same driver is bound to Python, C/C++ and C#.
Modules§
- adapter
- An EtherNet/IP adapter: a CIP target that a Logix scanner owns like an I/O module or a camera.
- browse
- Device browsing like RSWho in FactoryTalk Linx: the ports of a device (Port Object, class 0xF4) and the devices on each port (Identity Object of every slot or node).
- cip
- The CIP driver: session, Forward Open/Close, generic messages, ListIdentity and discovery.
- epath
- CIP path segments, EPATH encoding, connection path parsing and request paths.
- identity
- CIP Identity Object replies: Get_Attributes_All of the Identity Object and the ListIdentity reply.
- logix
- Logix (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, Micro800) specifics.
- packets
- EtherNet/IP encapsulation and CIP request/reply packets, as pure functions without I/O.
- reader
- A bounds-checked little-endian reader over a byte slice.
- slc
- SLC 500 / MicroLogix (PCCC) specifics.
- status
- CIP status text, error classification and lookup tables.
- transport
- Moving encapsulation frames: the TCP transport and the trait a test fake implements.
- types
- CIP elementary data types and their binary encoding, as the Python driver’s
ciplink.cip.data_types.
Structs§
- TagError
- A per-tag error: its message, kind, and the CIP general status and first extended status word of a controller error.
Enums§
- Error
- Errors raised by ciplink, one variant per exception class of the Python package.
- Error
Kind - What kind of failure a
TagErroris. - Value
- A tag or message value.
Type Aliases§
- Result
- Result alias for ciplink operations.
